Tickton Pre-school and Paly Pals.
Our setting Chair Person, Treasurer, Secretary and other members are voted in at each Annual General Meeting (AGM) and can be co-opted. We attend regular meetings during the year where we discuss how the preschool and Play Pals is running and how we can continually support the staff to ensure we are an outstanding setting for the children, families and all concerned.
We liaise with many agencies including the Preschool Learning Alliance (PLA) and local authority (ERYC) to create a strong network of support for the whole pre-school team.
We act as the employer, recruiting and vetting members of the team to ensure safeguarding is of paramount importance at every stage.
We also have the pleasure of planning fundraising opportunities and, along-side the staff, decide which area of the preschool would benefit most from these funds making sure all of our equipment is of the highest standard.
